Lake District
Let me start by saying that I did turn up the blacks and the contrast on this photo but I didn’t touch the saturation. Nature has already turned up the saturation on this beautiful area. With stunning green rolling hills, lamb and sheep grazing away, multi-coloured trees and flowers and calm lakes it is quite a breathtaking and serene landscape.
We went bike riding around the countryside, consumed copious amounts of tea & scones, went kayaking on the beautiful lakes and gorge scrambling on the rocks and waterfalls. Both a relaxing and an active trip, one that shouldn’t be missed if you live in the UK.
